The Institute of Engineering (IOE), under Tribhuvan University, has announced the opening of applications for the entrance examination for bachelor-level programs (B.E., B.Arch, etc.) for the academic year 2082/083. The entrance exam will be computer-based and held from Bhadra 3 onwards.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria
1. Applicants must have passed or appeared in the final examination of Grade 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized institution under Tribhuvan University or equivalent.
- A minimum of 45% aggregate marks or C grade in each subject is required.
- Students who have appeared in the final examination of Grade 12 or the 6th semester of the Engineering Diploma are also eligible to apply.
2. Foreign nationals are eligible to apply only for full-fee programs. IOE has reserved 1/12th of the total full-fee seats at its constituent campuses specifically for foreign applicants.

1. Candidates must fill out the online application form available on the IOE entrance exam website: https://entrance.ioe.edu.np
2. The application form will be available from 2082/04/13 (10:00 AM) to 2082/04/27 (5:00 PM). Forms must be submitted within this deadline. The online system will automatically close after the deadline.
3. The form can be filled from any internet-enabled location at any time during the open period.
4. The entrance exam fee is NPR 2,000 (in words: two thousand rupees only).
